China is working with a computer software company, "Canonical", to
create an operating system for personal computers customized for Chinese
users. The new operating system will be called Kylin and will come into
circulation in April.
China has a five year plan to push more
people to use open source software open source software instead of
paying produced by giant "Microsoft". Operating systems with open source
give users access to their operation, so that they are able to modify
according to interests.
The operating system will be used by the
desktop personal computers or laptops. Besides the fact that this type
of system will use the Chinese letters, Kylin will help more Chinese
people interact with computers and not only as consumers but also as a
modifier system.
A work program aims to create additional
operating systems necessary for the operation of servers and websites,
online shops etc..
The vast majority of computers in the world
today use operating systems and programs produced in the U.S.. Is the
dominant operating system "Windows" produced by "Microsoft". An option
called "Linux" is created through the efforts of tens of thousands of
programmers around the world who have worked for free. This is based
